Red-Hot Rondon on Radar for Wolves

Newcastle’s on-loan striker Salomon Rondon has been bang in-form for the Magpies in the second-half of the Premier League season. Although increasingly close to his 30th birthday, the Venezuelan international has no shortage of admirers in both the Premiership and abroad.

The unwillingness of Newcastle to pay a £15 million pound fee for the striker and West Brom’s inability to bypass Aston Villa in Wednesday’s night Championship play-off semi-final will allow the Premier League’s new money clubs like Wolves the chance to swoop as they aim to break into the top 6 places in the 2019/2020 season.

Rafa Benitez’s future at St. James’ Part is still clearly uncertain, which will no doubt bring unease to Rondon who will be looking at potentially his last big contract of his football career and Wolves will be able to offer him a bumper payday and European football next season IF Manchester City manage to beat Watford in Saturday’s FA Cup Final.

Have your say? Where will Rondon end up in the 2019/2020 season?
